Help LEAP Build a Community Gardens Toolbox

LEAP’s community gardens have never had a bank of tools for maintaining infrastructure on the properties. We’re working to fix that! LEAP is building a toolbox including items like a drill, leaf blower, and set of pliers that can be driven to each garden, used on site, and then moved to the next project. We want to thank local store managers at The Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Walmart for their donation of gift cards. Already, we’ve been able to purchase a pruner, hand saw, pry bar, and multi-bit screw driver, among other supplies. Now we need your help. Here’s an Amazon Wish List of needed tools. Feel free to purchase on Amazon or at another business. We’re hoping to complete this list by Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 5) to allow our new Community Gardens Manager Hannah Patrick to start the fall with the tools she needs to help LEAP’s Community Gardens grow!Questions about how to purchase an item on the Wish List? Reach out to Hannah at gardens@leapforlocalfood.org.
