LEAP can accept donations of stock, which may provide income tax advantages to the donor. LEAP works with Raymond James to process stock donations. For tax purposes, the value of a gift of publicly traded stock is the average of the high and low prices on the date of the gift.

A bequest to LEAP is as simple as adding an amendment to your will or trust stating, I give ($ or %) of my estate to Local Environmental Agriculture Project of Roanoke, Virginia. This is the most common planned gift, and it may provide you with valuable estate tax savings. For additional information and sample languages, please see our information sheet.

Multi-year pledges help LEAP plan for our organization and program development. Pledges also streamline the donation process for donors. Please complete a pledge form and mail or email it to us.
