ServSafe Certification

about

The ServSafe® program provides food safety training, exams, and educational materials to food service managers. Students can earn the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) – Conference for Food Protection (CFP). The program blends the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research, and food sanitation training.

Local Environmental Agriculture Project (LEAP) offers in-person classes and testing the second Monday of every month, online proctor services, and retesting. Private classes are available for groups of ten or more upon request. All exams are offered and proctored by LEAP Kitchen Manager and certified ServSafe instructor, Jeff Bland.

How it Works:

IMPORTANT: This class is a combination of self-study and classroom. We highly recommend pre-study before the class and exam. Read and study the book and answer sample questions at the end of each chapter. There is plenty of free study information on the internet, including videos on YouTube.
