ServSafe Certification

about

The ServSafe® program provides food safety training, exams, and educational materials to food service managers. Students can earn the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) – Conference for Food Protection (CFP). The program blends the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research, and food sanitation training.

How it Works:

LEAP offers in-person classes, test proctoring, and restesting each month. Classes are held on the 2nd Monday of each month from 9am-5:30pm.

  • Tests begin at 3:30pm. Retests are scheduled on regular test days, unless arrangements are made separately with the instructor.
  • All classes are taught and exams are proctored by LEAP Kitchen Manager and certified ServSafe® instructor, Jeff Bland.
  • Private classes for groups of 10 or more are available upon request.

IMPORTANT: This class is a combination of self-study and classroom. We highly recommend pre-study before the class and exam. Read and study the book and answer sample questions at the end of each chapter. There is plenty of free study information on the internet, including videos on YouTube.
